The client came in with a finished design and a clear vision — a boutique salon in Mountain View, California. We owned production development: markup, integrations with the booking system and the map, optimization and deploy. Stack: Next.js + Tailwind CSS.

The client came in with a finished boutique salon mockup: warm neutral palette, serif typography, a thought-through identity. They needed a team that would ship the site to production within a month — with no compromises on quality or design details.
The brief was specific: “The design is ready, we need a fast and accurate launch.” The salon planned to launch alongside a public announcement, so the timeline was tight — 4 weeks from brief to live site.
From day one we locked in the core requirements for the production version:
We broke the work into four weekly iterations with a demo at the end of each one. That gave the client full control over the process and the ability to push changes before launch, not after.
Week 1 — Foundation and design system. Spun up a Next.js App Router project, configured Tailwind CSS to match the brand palette and typography, built the core components (header, footer, sections, buttons). Wired in Playfair Display, Cormorant Garamond and DM Sans with optimized preload.
Week 2 — Pages.Built Home, Services, About and Contact 1:1 with the mockup: hero section with the salon photo, services block, founder story, “What we believe in”, an interactive map on the contact page.
Week 3 — Integrations and responsive. Wired in online booking via the Book now CTA, embedded Google Maps with a custom marker, tuned the mobile version with a focus on fast menu access and clear calls to action.
Week 4 — QA, optimization, launch. Optimized images (Next.js Image), set up SEO meta tags, ran cross-browser testing on iOS Safari, Android Chrome, MacBook and Windows. Shipped the site to production.
